This sturdy, rustic, hardy dog has a strong, steady personality. Tha Black Russian Terrier is very devoted to his owner.An excellent guard dog ,the breed is suspicious of strangers, has an active defence reaction and will bite. Firm training is a necessity.
Care and function.
This breed can adapt to life in the city if born to it. Long daily walks are required. Regular brushing and professional grooming are needed.
